Deleting a search field
If you need to, you can delete a search field. Deleting a search field removes the search field from any search result or detail displays, Discovery search sources or sites, or any facets that use that search field.

You cannot delete any of the delivered SirsiDynix search fields. |
To delete a search field
- Log in to the Admin console.
- Choose Search Configuration from the navigation pane.
- Choose Search Fields.
- Choose the Delete option next to the search field that you want to delete.
- When prompted, choose OK to delete the search field. If you do not want to delete the search field, choose Cancel.
